JA
IIDj developed for the Deutschland in Japan 2005/2006 series of events a web-based Content Management System to provide a unified platform for those working backstage on content aggregation, editing, and translation.

The interface offered, wherever relevant, simultaneous views on both language versions- Japanese/German. Input has been validated and reformatted by the system to ensure consistent output in different media

Editing has been based on previews of the actual pages

WWW output
Clear separation from content and presentation allowed for flexible templating.

Front-page of the site with Flash® animation - linked to the content management system to display timely information

Mobile-phone output
On-the-fly formatting, based on the mobile-phone model, optimized visual presentation of content respecting each providers specific capabilities.

Daily updated event-schedules

MekiMeki Doitsugo, a context aware learning tool for basic German

TabiTabi Doitsu, a virtual travel game to explore selected German cities

Mail output
Newsletter mailings in both HTML and text format for desktop and mobile clients. Editors could conveniently compile the content from existing material via the Content Management System without being concerned by the various formatting constraints.

HTML version of the Newsletter

Print output
A set of client-side scripts helped to insert content from the Content Management System and apply pre-defined formatting rules.

Spread of the Event-Calendar; entries are color-coded to add navigational cues
